2011 Livestock Information Night Held
Fifty-eight people attended the April 26th livestock exhibitor informational meeting. Guest speaker Jeremy Geske spoke to the group regarding animal care and speaking to the public at the county and state fairs. Members broke into specie groups and were taught the basics of getting ready for the show and showing their animals. Special thanks to presenters: Sue Schatz, beef; Patty Traxler, dairy; Deb, Katie & Jake Peterson, goat; Cassie & Christine Schwartz and Brittney Riebel, rabbit; Thomas Liepold and Mara Haugen, sheep; Karen & Brad Richter and Brett Schwartz, swine. 2011 4H Dog Training Begins
The first night of 4H dog training was held at the Fairgrounds, Le Center (on grass near horse arena)Trainings will be held every Monday evening at 6:30 pm with the exception of Memorial Day May 30 and July 4th.
